On 14 January 2007, Abhishek Bachchan's father Amitabh Bachchan announced the engagement of Abhishek and Ash. Later on 20 April 2007, according to Hindu traditions, they were married. Along with this, Northern India and Bengali traditions were also played in the marriage.

He was married in Bachchan's private house "Pratiksha", which is located near Juhu in Mumbai. Aishwarya Rai gave birth to a daughter on 16 November 2011, at that time her daughter became very famous by the name of "Beti B", she was named Aaradhya Bachchan. Their pair is also called "Super Couple" in Indian media. Aishwarya Rai loved her family so Aishwarya Rai lived with her family in Bandra, Mumbai till her marriage.
